You are not broken. You are out of balance. At Tula, ancient Ayurvedic wisdom meets deeply personal care — supporting women through gut health, hormones, emotional healing, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
"You are not too sensitive, too emotional, or too much. You are a woman whose body is asking to be heard."
Kiran · Tula Ayurveda · Online across Australia & New ZealandAyurveda is one of the world's oldest healing sciences — its relevance for modern women has never been greater.
Vata, Pitta, and Kapha — understanding your unique constitution is the first step to lasting health.
Everything we see, hear, taste, touch, and smell shapes our wellbeing. Ayurveda works with all of them.
In Sanskrit, Tula means balance. Every session, every recommendation, every practice comes back to this.
Founder of Tula
Hi, I'm Kiran — a qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner with a deep passion for women's health and holistic healing. My path to Ayurveda was deeply personal. For years I struggled with gut issues, hormonal imbalances, and the exhausting disconnect of feeling at war with my own body. Conventional medicine offered me management, not healing.
Ayurveda gave me something different — it gave me a language to understand my own body, a framework that honoured the connection between my digestion, my emotions, my hormones, and my sense of self. Through this ancient wisdom, I found healing, freedom, and a profound connection to who I truly am.
I created Tula to offer that same experience to women across Australia and New Zealand and beyond. Whether you're navigating gut health challenges, hormonal imbalances, the emotional weight of inner child wounds, the hope and vulnerability of trying to conceive, the journey of pregnancy, or the tender and often overlooked postpartum period — I'm here to walk alongside you.
"Every woman deserves to feel at home in her body. That's what Ayurveda made possible for me — and what I want to give to you."
Areas of Support
Ayurveda doesn't treat symptoms in isolation — it looks at the whole woman. Here are the key areas where Tula can offer deep, lasting support.
In Ayurveda, healthy digestion — known as Agni — is the foundation of all health. Bloating, constipation, IBS, food intolerances, and sluggish digestion are not things you have to live with. Through personalised diet, herbs, and daily routine adjustments, we restore your digestive fire and the vitality that comes with it.
Irregular cycles, PMS, PCOS, painful periods, perimenopause — hormonal imbalances affect so many women and are often dismissed or masked with medication. Ayurveda looks at the root cause through the lens of your unique constitution and works to gently, naturally restore balance over time.
Ayurveda has always understood what modern psychology is now confirming — that unprocessed emotional experiences live in the body. Through the lens of Ayurvedic psychology and mind-body practices, we create space to gently release what no longer serves you and reconnect to your authentic self.
Ayurveda has a profound tradition of preconception care — preparing the body, mind, and spirit for the sacred journey of bringing new life into the world. This is about optimising your health before conception, supporting hormonal readiness, and creating the most nourishing environment possible for a new soul.
Pregnancy is one of the most transformative experiences a woman can have — and Ayurveda offers beautiful, gentle guidance for each trimester. From managing nausea and fatigue to supporting emotional wellbeing, preparing the body for birth, and nourishing the mother through each stage of growth.
The 42 days after birth — known in Ayurveda as Sutika Paricharya — are considered one of the most critical windows in a woman's life. Proper nourishment, rest, and care during this time sets the foundation for decades of health. Tula offers specific guidance on foods, herbs, self-care rituals, and emotional support for new mothers.
Ancient Wisdom
Ayurveda — meaning "the science of life" in Sanskrit — is a 5,000-year-old healing system that originated in India. Unlike conventional medicine, which tends to treat isolated symptoms, Ayurveda looks at the whole person: your physical body, your mind, your emotions, your relationships, your daily routines, and your connection to the natural world.
At its heart, Ayurveda believes that health is our natural state — and that illness arises when we fall out of alignment with our true nature. By understanding your unique constitution (your Dosha), we can identify what brings you into balance and what pulls you away from it.
For women especially, Ayurveda is a deeply empowering framework. It honours the rhythms of our bodies — the cycles, the seasons, the transitions — and offers practical, nourishing tools to support each phase of womanhood.
"Ayurveda does not simply treat disease — it cultivates the conditions in which health naturally flourishes."
Individualised care
No two people are the same. Your protocol is built entirely around you.
Root cause focus
We go beyond symptoms to understand the underlying imbalances driving them.
Whole-life approach
Diet, sleep, movement, relationships, seasons — everything is part of your health.
The Three Pillars
Your physical constitution — known as Prakriti — determines how your body processes food, generates energy, responds to stress, and moves through the world. Ayurveda uses food as medicine, tailored herbal formulas, seasonal practices, and daily routines (Dinacharya) to restore your body's innate intelligence and self-healing capacity.
Mental clarity, emotional resilience, and psychological wellbeing are inseparable from physical health in Ayurveda. An overactive, anxious mind (excess Vata) or a hot, reactive mind (excess Pitta) can drive physical imbalance. Through breathwork, meditation, lifestyle adjustments, and specific herbs for the mind, we bring calm, clarity, and stability.
True and lasting health touches the deepest level of your being. Ayurveda honours the spiritual dimension of life — the sense of purpose, connection, and meaning that underpins everything. When we are aligned with our soul's nature, health flows more easily. Spiritual practices, connection to nature, and self-knowledge all form part of the healing journey.
Your Constitution
Every person is born with a unique combination of the three Doshas — biological energies that govern all physical and mental processes. Understanding your dominant Dosha is the foundation of everything in Ayurveda.
Vata governs all movement in the body and mind — breathing, circulation, nerve impulses, and the flow of thoughts. Vata types are naturally creative, quick, enthusiastic, and adaptable. When in balance, Vata brings joy, lightness, and inspired thinking. When out of balance, it manifests as anxiety, insomnia, dry skin, digestive irregularity, and a scattered, overwhelmed mind.
Pitta governs transformation — digestion, metabolism, body temperature, and the processing of experiences and emotions. Pitta types are natural leaders: focused, determined, intelligent, and passionate. When in balance, Pitta brings sharp intellect, confidence, and warmth. When out of balance, it shows as inflammation, irritability, heartburn, skin conditions, and burnout.
Kapha governs structure, lubrication, and cohesion — the physical form of the body, the strength of the immune system, and emotional steadiness. Kapha types are the nurturers: loving, loyal, patient, and deeply grounded. When in balance, Kapha brings strength, compassion, and endurance. When out of balance, it manifests as weight gain, lethargy, depression, attachment, and congestion.

After years of struggling with bloating and irregular cycles, Kiran helped me understand that my body wasn't broken — it was just out of balance. Within 6 weeks I felt like a completely different person.
I came to Kiran feeling completely depleted after my second pregnancy. The postpartum guidance she gave me was unlike anything I'd received from conventional healthcare — it was nourishing on every level.
The Dosha quiz led me to Kiran, and that 30-minute session changed the way I understand myself. I booked the full consultation the same week and haven't looked back.
